This series of flat sculptures were inspired by numerous drawings based on segments of a variety of interiors. These different segments (parts of doors, drawers, corners, windows and furniture in general) were drawn on small pieces of paper and then transformed into wooden surfaces layered over one another. Each of the wooden surfaces had a specific darker or lighter colour in order to emphasize or understate shadows and front and back components of the sculptures. All sculptures were exhibited on the floor of an exhibition space.
