A New Horizon

 

 

‘Horizon’ in its figurative meaning: a worldview,
perspective, and knowledge of the world that can be
broadened and changed both intentionally and
unexpectedly, as well as the awareness of the
limitations of one's ideas, experience and
understanding of the world.

 

 

A New Horizon is a series of artworks created using mulberry paper, watercolours and pigments to produce an abstract impression on a Kapaline foam board. While it cannot be categorised as a drawing, painting or monoprint, it is perhaps all of these simultaneously, forming a unique amalgamation of colours and shapes on a white surface that evokes a sense of unexpected harmony.
