XVII International Biennale of Artistic Ceramics of Aveiro, Museum of Aveiro

From 18 October 2025 until 18 January 2026   I  Aveiro, Portugal 

 

The Aveiro International Biennial of Artistic Ceramics officially opens, presenting 110 works by 96 artists selected from 488 entries totaling 782 submissions. The exhibition highlights contemporary trends in ceramics, showcasing diverse geographies, concepts, and innovative approaches to materials and techniques. With a focus on color, form, texture, and expression, the Biennale reaffirms its status as a leading global platform for artistic ceramics.

 

The opening of the Biennale and the award ceremony will be held on Saturday, 18 October 2025, at 15:00 (3:00 PM) at the Theater of Aveiro. My sculpture Thinking Out Loud will be presented at the international exhibition and will offically open at the Museum of Aveiro Santa Joana at 16:00 (4:00 PM). In addition to the international exhibition, there will be six other locations hosting different exhibitions celebrating ceramics.
